BOSTON –Thursday, May 15, 2014-- The MassDOT Registry of Motor Vehicles Division announced today that the Nantucket branch will be closed for renovations on Monday, May 19 and Tuesday, May 20, 2014. During that timeframe customers are encouraged to perform their transaction online at MassRMV.com or by contacting the RMV call center at 857-DOT-8000. The branch renovations will include the installation of ADA accessible doors, ADA compliant transaction counters as well as security upgrades. In addition, new carpeting will be installed and the branch will be painted. The Nantucket branch is scheduled to open on Wednesday, May 21. Customers are reminded they may always check for branch and other service alerts online at MassRMV.com.
