National Guard Plate

Eligibility

National Guard plates are issued to members of the Massachusetts National Guard who have a rank equal to or higher than an E2 rating.

National Guard members are eligible for one (1) set of plates for each vehicle registered in his or her name.

Procedure to Obtain National Guard Plates:

An Application for Massachusetts National Guard Plates must be completed. This application must also be completed and signed by an official at the Massachusetts National Guard Headquarters. Once completed, you may bring the form to any full service RMV office to have the plates issued.

Fees:

• Initial Registration Fee: $50
• Special Plate Fee: $40
• Renewal Fee: $90 every 2 years
