If any information is incorrect on the title, you may submit the corrected information and request a corrected title.
Note: If ownership is changing or if an owner is added or deleted from a title, this is not considered a correction but a transfer of ownership and a new original title must be applied for.
A $25.00 fee is required to correct any information submitted incorrectly.
Please allow seven (7) to ten (10) business days after receipt of the application for a corrected title to be processed and mailed. If you have any questions, call the Title Division at 857-368-8050.
If you are requesting a correction for an odometer discrepancy, a notarized affidavit of facts must be submitted. This affidavit is a statement made by the person who originally miss-stated the odometer reading and attesting to the true and accurate mileage on the vehicle at time of sale. This statement must be signed and witnessed in the presence of a notary public. If the person making the statement is acting on behalf of a company, the affidavit must be on company letterhead.
