On Monday March 27th the Registry of Motor Vehicles, in conjunction with local Police Departments and school pupil transportation providers, participated in "Operation Yellow Blitz," an enforcement program targeting vehicles that pass stopped school buses with red lights flashing and passengers being picked up or dropped off by the buses. We are pleased to announce that the over 35 law enforcement agencies that took part wrote 84 citations. The RMV would like to thank all school pupil transportation providers and local law enforcement for helping to make the first Operation Yellow Blitz a great success.
