Amending a Registration

You may amend your registration by mail or in person.

Fees
A $25.00 fee is required for an amended registration.

Processing Time
If amending a registration in person, you will receive your amended registration at that time. If amending a registration by mail, please allow at least 10 days processing time for your amended registration to be mailed to you.

To Amend your Registration

1. You must go to your insurance agent and have him complete an Application for Amendment of Registration (RMV-3), with the changes you request.

   Make sure your insurance agent stamps and signs the RMV-3.

2. You must include the license numbers and dates of birth for all owners listed on the registration.
3. After verifying the information, all owners must sign the RMV-3.

Amending a Registration by Mail:

Amending a Registration In Person:

Take the RMV-3 form and the required fee (cash, check or money order) to the nearest full service RMV center.
