This map depicts the statewide freight multimodal transportation system consisting of railroad lines by freight operator, railroad yards seaports, airports, ferry routes, and the National Highway System (NHS) roadway network. The railroad yards are interchange points between railroad operators, freight modes (rail to truck or rail to ship), or serve as rail car maintenance locations. The NHS network consists of designated routes that provide the primary trucking network.
