Fore River Bridge Replacement Project: Upcoming Public Information Meeting Scheduled for Tuesday, March 26
WHEN: Tuesday, March 26, 2013, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

WHERE: The Fore River Club, 16 Nevada Street, Quincy, MA (http://goo.gl/maps/FUMjn)

WHAT: The purpose of this meeting is to provide an overview of the construction plans and traffic impacts for the replacement of the Fore River Bridge, which carries Route 3A over the Fore River between Quincy and Weymouth.  

The meeting will also provide residents and other stakeholders within the project area with an opportunity meet MassDOT’s design/build team for the construction phase of the project. Following the presentation, MassDOT staff will lead a discussion to answer questions.

The Fore River Bridge Replacement is part of the $3 billion Patrick-Murray Administration's Accelerated Bridge Program, which restores, repairs or replaces structurally deficient bridges across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The Fore River Bridge project includes the complete replacement and eventual removal of the existing temporary span. The project, already underway, will run through 2016.
