Translation Disclaimer

MassDOT does not expressly endorse any third party translation service and is providing this translation option strictly as a convenience for our users. Computerized translations are sometimes only an approximation of the original content. The translation should not be considered exact and in some cases may include incorrect or offensive language.

Neither MassDOT or the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, nor any agency, officer, or employee of MassDOT warrants the accuracy, reliability, or timeliness of any information translated by this system and shall not be liable for any losses caused by such reliance on the accuracy, reliability, or timeliness of such information. All anomalies, ambiguities or differences due to the machine translation are non-binding and have no legal value.

Despite MassDOT’s best efforts to provide a correct translation, no machine translation system is perfect or intended to replace human translation. The official text is the English version of this website.

Please note: Translations of web content within the MassDOT Website are made by linking the user to a third party website which provides a free and automated/computerized translation service: Microsoft Translator. The use of this service requires that you enable JavaScript, a scripting programming language that runs on your web browser. It makes web pages functional for specific purposes and if disabled for some reason, the content or the functionality of the web page can be limited or unavailable. Find instructions on how to enable (activate) JavaScript in five most commonly used browsers.

If the content you seek is complex or specialized and you require translation from English, please contact our Language Access Coordinator.
