The Massachusetts Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board serves in an advisory role on advancing bicycle and pedestrian transportation for MassDOT and other State Agencies.
The Massachusetts Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board was established by law August 10, 2004. Check the MassDOT calendar for meeting details or contact Josh Lehman, the Bicycle and Pedestrian Program Coordinator for information.
The Advisory Board keeps a database of people interested in serving as future members. If you would like to be included in that listing, please submit your information to BikePedboard@state.ma.us.
At the January 18th, 2012 meeting of MA Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Board, the board members identified and prioritized issues, concerns, and topics of exploration for bicycling and walking in the Commonwealth. This list of priorities was organized by the Office of Transportation Planning into four categories that will direct the work of the Advisory Board for the remainder of 2012. Each of the next four meetings of the Advisory Board has an associated theme and potential topics to address. The meeting dates and times are subject to change, so please check back as the dates approach.
