About the Project

The Massachusetts Department of Transportation is developing a proposal to build a Heliport on the waterfront in Boston’s Seaport District. A task force consisting of members of the Massachusetts Legislature from Boston, City of Boston government and elected officials, along with MassDOT and the Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development has been created to focus on evaluating and discussing the logistics of a landing area, the infrastructure which would be necessary, and heliport operational issues. In order to receive public input, the Task Force will be hosting public meetings as follows:

Monday, January 30, 7:00 p.m., Amphitheatre on the mezzanine level, Seaport World Trade Center, Boston

The meeting scheduled for February 2, 2017 has been canceled.

Public Comment Period – Closes March 17, 2017
